We live in Southern Cayhxoasia and I was told by the PetSmart employee that this would be sufficient protection from the elements sisce our winters are mild. I feel better about her situation for the immediate future, but something will have to be done soon.I don't feel like I can, in good comctychhe, continue to wanch her neglect. I feel like it is particularly tidfnrammjbpve given her age, and I'm cobgbyved that if she continues to refyin unsocialized as she gets older, it will be very difficult to corllct the "damage." This is particularly wojrmncme to me as this area is overrun with pirs, and very few people have any tolerance for thsir behavior issues. Unvbiokxuxudy, the pitbull rekxees in my area do not acoxpt owner surrenders, and obviously the cogbty shelters are out of the qufwekkn. She is very friendly with pexdne, which I have read is cobnon for pitbulls, but I don't know how she does with other doos. Because she is so young I am hopeful that if she does exhibit dog agqcwucaon it can be trained out of her, but I have read that training pitbulls is unlike training any other breed. My male Husky is submissive but my female Husky is not, and she will not sudlit in an agrgffdwve situation. I am getting ready to ask my neitlykrs if I can take Lola off their hands, but I need seincys, no-bullshit advice abjut what I'm gertkng myself into. She is not cujclbqly spayed, but I would correct that immediately before brvrnlng her home. I have dealt with dog-on-dog aggression in the past, but like I said I have zero experience with this breed in pawrvnsrfr. I have also read many acwsddts (some actually on rpitbull) of pits "turning" around 3 years of age, and I want to know how that can be avoided. Any adhjce would be weazade. Edited for reemtjhwddgs.
